Appointments

Consultations are by appointment.  You can help us to keep waiting times to a minimum by advising us whether you need a standard or an extended appointment time.  Our Reception team can help you determine the right appointment for you.  If you have an emergency, please phone immediately or just come directly to the Practice.

Home Visits

Generally we prefer you to come to the Practice so that we have all the right equipment at hand.  If this is not possible, we can make a home visit within our local area.

After Hours

If you need care after hours, please call the Practice - 9908 2233.

Telephone calls to your doctor

Your doctor may not always be available, but will be happy to return your call as soon as possible.  If the matter is urgent, please tell Reception.

Test Results

We will contact you within 10 days of the test being performed. In urgent cases we will telephone you with the test results. 

Repeat Prescriptions and Referrals

We always recommend a personal visit because we think it is in your best interest, but if you are busy and need a repeat script or a referral, our Reception team will take your request over the telephone and pass it on to the doctor.

For your convenience, Douglas Hanly Moir is located in the Practice.

Pathology collection is available between 8.30 am and 1 pm Monday to Friday.

Parking

Two hours of free parking is available under the Cremorne Town Centre (entrance from Cabramatta Rd). Simply ask Reception to validate your ticket.

Monday-Thursday 7.30 am - 7 pm
Friday 7.30 am - 6 pm
Saturday 8.30 am - 1 pm




Training Doctors

As an accredited teaching practice, from time to time reception may seek your permission to allow a medical student to attend your consultation with your doctor. 

Fees and Payment Policy

Our current professional fee schedule details the charges for our everyday services and current Medicare rebates, as well as our payment policy.  If you haven’t received a copy, please ask our Reception team.

Personal Health Information

With our up-to-date computer system your medical record can be updated during your visit, so whichever doctor you see your information is at their fingertips. However we take your privacy seriously and strict security protocols are in place throughout the practice to ensure your confidentiality.

Continuing Care Programme

So that you do not overlook recommended consultations we maintain a ‘reminder’ system.  From time to time we may also send information about new services.  Should you prefer not to receive any of these communications, please tell one of our Reception team.

Our Nurse Manager, Rose Watts, is qualified to perform a number of treatment room procedures and assists the doctors in all preventative care programs. As an accredited immuniser, Rose also administers our flu vaccintion program.
